Hello everyone! The response to our shirts has been fantastic and we've been asked if we are ever going to sell them again. The answer is: YES! We are going to have our shirts on sale for 2 weeks - Oct. 30 through Nov. 13. We are hoping to sell 20 - 25 shirts in this time.
Here are the details: Shirts are Adult sizes XS-XL for $20 and XXL-XXXL for $25. This price includes shipping! To pay, please send payment via PayPal to thethomps@gmail.com (make sure to mark as a gift so we don't incur any fees) and please include your shirt size, name, and address in the note section. Or you can donate to our GoFundMe page at www.gofundme.com/knueppeladoption and then email me the shirt size, name, and address at thethomps@gmail.com. These shirts are SUPER soft and are seriously my go-to t-shirts. They can run a little small because of the fabric and the printer recommends you order one size up if you're unsure. They're unisex shirts, so keep that in mind.
The order for the shirts will be sent in on Nov. 14. It takes 7-9 business days for the shirts to be printed and then a few more days for the shirts to arrive at our house. We will get them packed up and shipped out as quickly as we can once we receive them.
We thank everyone for their interest and for helping support our adoption!
Much love,
The Knueppels

Home Study - final visit!
Whew! We had our final home study visit yesterday and, man, there's nothing like laying your life story on the table for scrutiny by a social worker. We had to write an autobiography to submit with our home study application, but we had to answer so many probing questions yesterday. Of course, they were all relevant in terms of our histories and how that would affect our ability to parent, our emotional well-being, possible triggers, etc., but it was definitely nerve-wracking. Thankfully, our social worker is very positive and, even though there were some difficult questions, I never felt judged for my answers. Daniel and I each had to do an interview with the social worker and then we had to do an interview together. Thankfully, my parents took Miss Bibs to get ice cream and to The Park at our church, so she had a great Grammy and Granddad date and we didn't have to worry about her trying to be in the middle of everything while we were trying to get the interviews done (not that 4-year-olds ever want to be in the middle of everything!). We did order in some BBQ afterward because I was a little too drained to cook.
So, now we wait for the home study to be written up. Our social worker said we should have it within the next month. That means we have to finish our online adoption training classes prior to that point, so we have 2 classes a week on our calendar until that's done! After our home study is written up, we'll have to review it to make sure everything is written correctly and our agency will also have to review and request any changes.
I had my adoption physical this week, which was loads of fun (ha). Buddy had to go with me and had the best time flirting with the nurses and the doctor. I had to get blood drawn and almost passed out. I can somehow give birth to two kids drug-free, but blood draws make me woozy. I remembered to bring a lollipop with me and I popped that in my mouth as soon as the draw was done. Buddy got a couple of stickers for being so good and he was happy with that. He was saying, "Bye! Byyyyye!" at the end of the visit. I guess it was a big hint that he was ready to go.
Things are moving along! We are close to having the home study checked off and getting ready to start on our dossier!
With anticipation,
The Knueppels
